The process is completely online, free of cost, and paperless.

Step-by-Step Guide:
Go to the official portal: https://udyamregistration.gov.in

Click on “For New Entrepreneurs”.

Enter Aadhaar Number:

For Proprietorship: Proprietor’s Aadhaar

For Partnership/LLP: Managing Partner’s Aadhaar

For Company: Director’s Aadhaar

OTP Verification using the mobile number linked to Aadhaar.

PAN and GSTIN Verification:

Mandatory from July 1, 2020.

Fill Business Details:

Name, Type of Organization

Address, Bank Account Info

Investment and Turnover details

Submit the Form: After submitting, a unique Udyam Registration Number (URN) is generated.

Download the Certificate: You’ll get the Udyam Registration Certificate via email.

You can update or modify your Udyam data via the same portal.

One registration per PAN: You can include multiple business activities under one Udyam Registration.
